1. I somehow stumbled across this blog while searching for something completely unrelated. I read a bit of it and I’m not sure what exactly the situation is but I wanted to check in with you to see if you’re okay. Your letters seem very lonely and 2020 was a really hard year for everyone. I don’t know you, but I wish my dad was quite a bit more like you than the guy he is.
   I hope the reason you’ve stopped writing is that you’ve been reunited with Ophelia, and that this blog is no longer necessary.

     Thanks for your kind words. I’m sure your dad loves you more than anything… he just hasn’t experienced losing you… I hope he never does. Yes, I was reunited with Ophelia. It was wonderful.

   I’m not quite sure what I stumbled upon, but I hope you’re doing well.

   Recognize my name? If not, here’s a hint, you ate breakfast at my house in Egypt when I was in the 5th grade.
